The 2nd Annual Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede is 3 days away! We're uber excited to get the festivities underway. On August 13, 14, & 15 cowboys & cowgirls will be making their way to Stettler to give us all they've got. The Steel Wheel Stampede will offer the seven major events including bull riding, bareback, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, barrel racing, tie-down, and team roping.

Join the Downtown Merchants on the North end of Main Street for a pancake breakfast on Friday at 8:00am. The beer gardens will open at 4:00pm with the premier rodeo performance beginning at 6:00.

On Saturday The Stettler Mall will be hosting the pancake breakfast at 8:00am. Rodeo Slack will begin at 9:00am on the Ag. Grounds. Then get ready to celebrate the Canadian Naval Centennial as the Parade hits Main Street about 3:00pm.The 2nd Rodeo performance will start at 6:00pm and we're pleased to have GORD BAMFORD performing at 9:00pm for our Grandstand Show.

Sunday the Town and County council will be serving up breakfast at 9:00am before Cowboy Church at 11:00am. The final rodeo performance will start at 1:30pm.

Grab your family, friends and cowboy hat and come join in on the festivities! This is sure to be the most fun you can have with your boots on!!
