Central Music Festival
A wide range of musical styles is presented by local, regional, national and international performers at the Central Music Festival, happening this year on August 13 & 14. The Central Music Festival Society (non-profit and volunteer-ran) presents a family-oriented weekend of outdoor entertainment and activities in a beautiful natural amphitheater just a few miles north of Red Deer. In addition to hours of great live music there is a variety of food concessions, as well as local arts and crafts displays hosted by local businesses and organizations.
There is even entertainment specifically for children in the Kids Korner where they can partake in activities geared to their interests.
Admission:
Weekend passes: $60 (rates go up in May when full line up in announced)
Day passes will be available at the gate (price TBA)
12 and under: free (accompanied by a responsible adult)
