Asparagus Festival
Celebrate Spring at Edgar Farms during the wildly popular Asparagus Festival on May 29 & 30! Take a tour of the asparagus field and find out why Edgar Farms asparagus is fresher, sweeter and more tender than any other asparagus around. Learn how the asparagus is picked, bundled and chilled. Shop 'til you drop at the 'locally made, locally baked' booths and discover first hand why buying locally is better.
You can also visit the farm store, where you will find Edgar farm produce, Angus beef, pies, preserves and so much more. There will be tastings, asparagus cooking demonstrations by executive chefs and loads of kids activities (a petting zoo and a bale fort, for starters!).
The event runs from 10:00am - 5:00pm both days, rain or shine. Admission is only $5 per person or $20 for a family. Kids under 3 get in free. Come on out and enjoy the festivities, and don't forget to bring your cooler! This event is in conjunction with 'Springtime Country Drive'.
