Take the train, experience some history and explore some of Alberta's Parkland with a day ride on the Alberta Prairie Railway. These 5-6 hour jaunts start in Stettler and travel south to Big Valley where you can take in some sight-seeing and shop along the Boardwalk. Every excursion promises live entertainment, dinner and the possibility of a train robbery! Summer trips begin May long weekend and continue til mid-October, but they don't stop: Winter "Fine Dining" trains continue on select weekends from November to April.
