Red Deer Festival of Trees

Synonymous with Red Deer's holiday season, the DTHR Festival of Trees celebrates its 18th year!

The event features many different events November 22nd through 27th. A fun filled family event that lights Christmas magic for people of all ages – Whether you are looking for activities for the entire family or for something to do with that someone special, the Red Deer Festival of Trees is the premier event to kick off you Christmas Season! You can get some holiday shopping done with the Festival Gift Shop or Santa's Secret Shoppe (for kids!), Take part in the lighting of the Biggest Christmas Tree which starts the festival off and ushers the Christmas season into Downtown Red Deer. Tempt your taste buds and enjoy some decadent desserts at the Taste of Red Deer. Get the kids excited for the season with breakfast with Santa – NEW to the festival this year! Most of the festival will take place on the Westerner Park grounds and proceeds will benefit to upgrade equipment and technology for minimally invasive surgeries at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.
