Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site Opening
Get the first look at the newly-renovated Rocky Mountain House NHSC Visitor Centre, with a new theatre, exhibits, a gift shop and more. The Season Opening on May 17 & 18 will be a fun opportunity to explore our fur trade heritage, help the community of Rocky Mountain House commemorate their past, and enjoy such entertainment as performances by the Calgary Metis Dancers, the David Thompson Puppet Show: "The Man Who Looks at Stars" and interpretive programs and games with Parks Canada staff.
