Margins and Sizing Requirements:

Sweet 16 logo maginsIt is important that there is adequate clear space around the logo. Use the "A" letter height as a unit of measurement for a buffer zone, as shown to the left.

The logo may be resized to be as large as you require. It may also be sized smaller, as long as all components of the logo remain easily legible. For Web applications, the minimum size is 100 pixels.

Logo Usage in Microsoft Word:

To insert the Alberta Sweet 16 logo into a Microsoft document

  1. Select Insert > Picture > From File (this will open selections).
  2. Click on folder where the logo is stored... click on the desired logo... click on 'Insert'.

To resize the logo in Microsoft documents

  1. Click on the logo to select it and a box will appear around the logo.
  2. Grab one of the corners (not the top or bottom) of the logo.
  3. Drag it either in or out to make it smaller or larger.

By grabbing the logo from a corner, it will maintain proper proportions so it is not skewed wider or taller than it should be.

Selecting colours:

To apply the proper colours in Microsoft applications:

  1. Go to the colour drop-down box.
  2. Select the "more colours" option.
  3. Select the Custom button at the top and fill in the appropriate screen colours (RGB numbers) listed above.
