Wetaskiwin Rawhide Rodeo

Attracting over 400 contestants, the Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society is once again pleased to present the Rawhide Rodeo, which will be held May 22nd to 24th, and has become the second largest Amateur Rodeo in Alberta!

Our Stock Contractor, Double Tree from Buck Lake, boasts top notch Bucking Stock. Great stock means great Rodeo entertainment for the spectators. Our new facilities now have a covered grandstand for added comfort. The Rodeo is WRA sanctioned. 

Join us at the Wetaskiwin Ag Grounds (2 KM East of Wetaskiwin on Hwy 13) for daily rodeo performances at 1pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The fun includes: Bareback, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Saddlebronc, Calf Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Jr. Steer Riding, Jr. Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin', Wild Cow Milking, Novice Horse Riding, Team Roping and the Wild Pony Race.
